Web Mapping

In 2014, I created an online community atlas to help a local environmental stewardship group visualize their ongoing community projects and present the work that they do to the public. The project utilized Google Mapping tools, JavaScript and HTML coding to create a functional online map for the group.

The map is available for viewing at the MVIHES website.

Cartography - Thematic Mapping

This project used a combination of cartographic methods to create a thematic map illustrating a current Canadian issue. My topic was the relationship between mental health, health spending and specialist services available within each province, using choropleth, and proportional symbol techniques.

Created using CorelDraw 7.0

Cartography - Journalistic Mapping

This map was designed as a basic, b&w map of Ukraine, with major cities and surrounding countries. City size is represented by proportionally sized text.
